"Oil Resistance Hydraulic Seal Rubber Quad NBR 70 O-Ring  X Shaped  X Ring" Introduction:

The X-ring seal, also known as the star seal, is a type that can be installed in a special groove with a small compression ratio for friction reduction, but can also be used in the O-ring groove of the same specification. The X-ring has a low friction, better to overcome the torsion, and better lubrication; it can be used as a moving sealing element for use at lower speeds, and also for static sealing.

Compared with the O-ring, since the X-shaped seal forms a lubrication cavity between the sealing lips, it has a small frictional resistance and a starting resistance.Since its flash position is in the recess of the section, the sealing effect is good. Non-circular cross section to avoid rolling when reciprocating.
